Making an appointment
• Pop into The Wimbledon Guild (30 – 32 Worple Road Wimbledon SW19 4EF) and make a time to see one of our friendly counsellors.
• Call 020 8296 0030 to organise your first appointment.
Our Family Therapy Clinics currently run from 2pm-6pm Tuesdays & Thursdays, and sessions can occasionally be arranged at other times.
First meeting
• At your first meeting you will talk to a family therapist about the things that you would like to change.
• At this session the therapist will explain about the service and what we can offer.
• An average of 8 – 12 sessions can then be arranged at 2 -3 weekly intervals.
• Sessions will last between 1 – 1½ hours.
• You may have to wait for a vacancy to arise.
• If we feel that another service may be more helpful to you we will discuss that with you and endeavour to give advice about other resources in the community. |

Counselling fee structure:
The Wimbledon Guild is a charity and does not make profits. From the beginning, the service was committed to providing quality counselling, even if the client was only able to contribute minimally towards the cost. This has meant that the service has been subsidised from the start by The Wimbledon Guild, and is yet another way in which donations have been used to benefit those in need. Contributions towards the cost of providing the counselling are negotiated with the clients on an individual basis. We will take into account a clients’ income. There is a non refundable booking fee for the first consultation. |
