Rosemary Lodge is situated in a tree-lined residential road close to Wimbledon Common and Village and served by the No. 200 bus route from Wimbledon. The Home was established in 1946 and is now a Care Home with Nursing for forty-two disabled, convalescent or frail people. The Home is registered by the National Care Standards Commission under the Care Standards Act 2000. If a Resident's care needs change, they are usually able to remain in the Home.

It was originally donated to The Wimbledon Guild in 1946 by the Sanderson family as a home for the elderly, but in 1989 a nursing wing was built to supplement the residential accommodation. |

Where possible the resident's independence is encouraged, though qualified staff are available day and night.
There is a spacious garden, which is well used, and a programme of activities including concerts, outings, and religious services conducted by visiting clergy. Hairdressing, physiotherapy and chiropody services are also available. |
