Rosemary Lodge

Rosemary Lodge is situated in a tree-lined residential road close to Wimbledon Common and Village and served by the No. 200 bus route from Wimbledon. The Home was established in 1946 and is now a Care Home with Nursing for forty-two disabled, convalescent or frail people. The Home is registered by the National Care Standards Commission under the Care Standards Act 2000. If a Resident's care needs change, they are usually able to remain in the Home.

It was originally donated to The Wimbledon Guild in 1946 by the Sanderson family as a home for the elderly, but in 1989 a nursing wing was built to supplement the residential accommodation.

Currently there are 41 beds in the home, with up to 30 being allocated for nursing provision. Rosemary Lodge is home for many residents, and with that in mind there is a commitment to providing a caring and relaxed environment for the residents.
