We wouldn't be where we are without our fantastic volunteers! If you're organised and good at making people feel welcome then we'd love to hear from you.

Volunteer Programme Administrator

Hours: Part time (22.5 hours per week)

Salary: £25,000 (pro rata)

Deadline for applications: 9:00am on Monday 29th November 2021.

Wimbledon Guild is a community charity offering practical help and personal support, so people in Merton never have to face life’s challenges alone. Whether money’s tight, someone is feeling low or overwhelmed, or they’re looking for new friends and activities locally, we’re always here.

We help and support more than 2,000 people across our borough every year through a range of innovative services which we continue to develop in response to changing needs.

Our dedicated volunteers play an important part in helping us deliver these services and connect with the local community. Whether it’s befriending a neighbour, hosting an art or music class, preparing lunch in the café, planting vegetables in our community garden or running the London Marathon we couldn’t do it without them.

Throughout Covid-19, our volunteer team has continued to grow, and we now have over 250 volunteers helping support our community. To make sure our volunteers feel welcomed and supported, we are now looking for a Volunteer Programme Administrator to help recruit and induct prospective volunteers into a range of volunteering roles spanning our community services and fundraising programme.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked as an administrator, possess excellent written and interpersonal skills, and feel confident processing information and managing databases.

If you are interested in the role, please complete an application form, and send it to jobs@wimbledonguild.co.uk with Volunteer Programme Administrator in the title of your email.

Deadline for applications: 9:00am on Monday 29th November 2021.
