Become a volunteer Befriender

If you can spare a few hours a week, become a volunteer befriender and make a huge difference to someone's life
Befriending Volunteer
Flexible, short-term volunteer opportunity
One visit or call per week for six months
Our Volunteer Befrienders offer friendship and a listening ear to someone locally who feels isolated or is unable to go out. We hear from both Befrienders and clients what a huge difference they make to each other's lives.
If you would like to offer support and companionship and can commit to a weekly visit, we would love to hear from you.
