'Excellence' in Wimbledon Guild Befriending

We're delighted to have been awarded 'Excellence' in the Quality in Befriending Award, the highest accreditation available.

Achieving the award has been a long process, involving input from staff, befriending volunteers, and the people they visit.

The assessor said how “unusual and impressive” it is for an organisation to achieve Excellence on its very first submission—a reflection of the energy and compassion our amazing volunteers put into supporting befriending clients across our community. A massive thank you to all of them!

This award belongs to everyone involved—our volunteers, staff, and clients. It’s a moment we can all feel proud of.
