Wimbledon Guild's charity golf day

On Thursday 11th July, the sun shone as 84 golfers played a round at Royal Wimbledon Golf Club in aid of Wimbledon Guild. As one of the top 100 courses in England and top 20 courses in Surrey, it was the perfect setting for a fantastic, fun-filled day out.

After an exciting morning, an additional 35 guests joined us for drinks and lunch, followed by auction and prizegiving.

The golf day ticket sales, sponsorship, auction, raffle and donations raised an astonishing £56,000. 

We’ll now be able to buy a new people carrier – enabling us to be out and about reaching people across Merton who need us for many more years to come.
