Free counselling service for people from the LGBTQ+ community

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk about your feeling and thoughts in a confidential space with someone that understands gender, sex and relationship diversity.

To be eligible for this service you have to meet the following criteria:

  • You must be over 18
  • Live, work or study in Merton borough
  • Need help with mild to moderate mental health issues
  • Be able to attend weekly sessions at the same day and time
  • define as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning

You’ll receive up to 16 sessions with a qualified counsellor with a background of working with people from the LGBTQ+ community. The counsellor will not give you opinions or advice but will support you to come up with your own ideas or solutions.

Counselling sessions will take place at Wimbledon Guild in Wimbledon or WG Morden in Morden. These are offered in partnership with the National Lottery's Community Fund.
