How we can help

Everyday we work to provide help to people in Merton who are experiencing difficulties

Our team of friendly staff and volunteers are on-hand to listen, understand people's needs and to provide support. We aim to:

  • Reduce social isolation and loneliness
  • Help in times of difficulty
  • Enable older people to be active and healthy

We try to understand what will make a difference and provide practical and emotional assistance such as:

  • Home visits
  • Befriending
  • Bereavement support
  • Help accessing transport options (Dial-A-Ride, Taxicard etc)
  • Access to our Small Grants
  • Guidance on benefits entitlement
  • Assisting you in filling out forms
  • Advice on living safely at home

We also work with health and social care practitioners throughout the London of Borough of Merton and welcome opportunities to partner with organisations to provide services.

Whilst you are here...

...we need your help. Did you know, demand for our welfare services increased by 13% last year with over 2,000 people turning to us for help in their time of need? Demand continues to grow as times get tougher and budgets are cut for many services across the borough. Help us to continue this vital support. For as little as £5 you can support us, just click on the Donate button below. Thank you.
