Wimbledon Guild Talking Therapies

Free mental health support for adults in Merton

It’s normal to find life challenging at times. If things are starting to feel overwhelming, you don’t have to face it alone - we’re here to help.

Our Talking Therapies team are here to support you through a range of mental health difficulties that come up in life, including depression, anxiety and stress.

Who we can help

Wimbledon Guild Talking Therapies can support people aged 18 or over who live, work or study in the London Borough of Merton.

Our free mental health support services

All Wimbledon Guild Talking Therapies services are free. We’re accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) which means that we meet strict professional standards.

Councelling

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk about your feelings and thoughts in a confidential space without judgement.

Our counsellors won’t give you their opinions or advice. Instead, they’ll help you to find your own solutions – whether that’s making changes or finding ways of coping with your problems.

Support groups

Our support groups are all led by a qualified professional counsellor. Support groups are a longer-term mental health support option. They provide a safe space where you can share how you’re feeling with people in similar situations.

Courses and Workshops

We run a range of free courses and workshops to help you build confidence, cope with life’s challenges, and support your mental health.

Our upcoming courses and workshops are listed below.
