Guild House refurbishment plans

Guild House was built by Wimbledon Guild in the 1960s and is now very much in need of repair and modernisation. 

Guild House, Wimbledon Guild's main base on Worple Road, is the focal point for our services, offering a café, activities to help people over 50 stay fit and healthy and a huge range of support options which are often a lifeline for local people.

We want to create a modern and welcoming space for staff, customers and volunteers, with much improved facilities that everyone can enjoy using.

This will involve some internal upgrades to maximise the space we have.

Most of the renovation work will be internal which will mean the building will be closed for a period of time.

We are hoping to continue providing services during this period from Drake House and other locations.

It is possible that the building could be closed for up to a year. Once we know for sure we will be informing our staff, customers and volunteers, and sharing plans for how we intend to provide our much needed services during this time.
