Befriending

If you, or someone you know, is lonely, housebound or has lost the confidence to mix with others, our Volunteer Befrienders can help.

Our Volunteer Befrienders can provide a listening ear and companionship and can make a real difference. Being a part of our Wimbledon Guild Befriending Programme helps people to stay connected, particularly during these strange times!

Many Volunteer Befrienders have developed long-lasting connections with their friend, and both look forward to their weekly calls.

Please be aware that because of current COVID-19 restrictions, Befriending may take place over the phone or by email until our Volunteers can start making home visits again.
