Counselling

We're here to support you through a range of mental health difficulties that come up in life, including depression, anxiety and bereavement.

We've been providing counselling and Talking Therapies services for over 40 years.

Our Counsellors and Therapists follow the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. This means that, although anyone can call themselves a counsellor, we meet strict professional standards.

How do I get therapy?

Please call us to book an assessment on 020 8296 0030.

This call will last roughly 20 minutes. We'll ask you a few questions about why you’d like to start therapy.

During the initial call we will book you in for an in-depth 90-minute conversation with an assessor that will take place in person at Wimbledon Guild.

After your assessment we will decide how best we can help you. For individual counselling, you'll be added to our waiting list and it could take up to 12 weeks to allocate you to a therapist. For group therapy, the wait may be shorter.

How to book

We take self-referrals for individual counselling assessments by phone on the 1st Wednesday of each month.

For group therapy or support groups please get in touch using the details below.

Please note all assessments are offered on a first come first served basis. If you are unable to book an assessment, we will ask you to call back on another date.

Face to face sessions take place at Guild House, 30/32 Worple Road, Wimbledon SW19 4EF.
