Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is among the leading causes of death worldwide — overtaking breast and prostate cancer — and often with no symptoms until it’s too late.
Most at risk are people over the age of 60, of Black and/or Asian heritage, and with conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
Join us for this free talk and hear from local healthcare professionals about:
- what you can do to prevent CKD
- the importance of regular health checks
- warning signs to look out for
- getting tested, and
- what to do if you've been diagnosed with CKD.
Includes interactive Question and Answer session!
