The application involves completing an application form and a telephone assessment, including sending proof of income (a bank statement), proof of ID and proof of being a resident in Merton. We are working with longer delays than usual due to the high volume of applications. It is essential all the paperwork is supplied by the applicant to help speed up the process.
If you are a health professional, social worker, or voluntary organisation, you can refer local people who need the support of our grants programme by making referrals to us.

As part of our ongoing support for clients who have received a supermarket voucher, we are working in partnership with Merton's Community Fridge to offer food parcels to people in SW19 postcodes (to avoid cross over with partners across the borough and to make sure food is distributed fairly). We will be working with partners at Merton's Community Fridge to ensure people across the borough can access the food they need and will look to expand our services as required.

Socially isolated people across Merton are depending on us for immediate and practical support with food deliveries, telephone befriending and much more. In what is a difficult time for everyone, help us support vulnerable people who are likely to feel the impact most.
