They say it takes 6 weeks to form a habit, so to help you kick-start your more active lifestyle, we’ve introduced the 6-week Merton Moves Pledge!

Are you struggling to get back into exercise? If you’re aged 60+, have a physical health condition, and would like to stay healthy, happy and strong then the Merton Moves Pledge is perfect for you! You won’t have to run a marathon, just pledge to do one or more physical activity a week. Whether it’s a walk in the park, gardening or Pilates - whatever suits you. 

Don’t worry if you’ve never exercised before or if it’s been a long time, you won’t be going it alone, we will be on hand to give plenty of encouragement and support!

So far over 200 people have taken part and the feedback has been fantastic - our Merton Movers tell us their fitness and mobility has improved, as well as their social life.
