Most modern wrapping paper cannot be recycled, sadly meaning much of our gift wrapping ends up in landfill.
Using fabric to wrap presents is a great alternative, not only to cut waste, but to create beautiful gifts with wrappings that can be used for years to come. Starting in 750BC, Furoshiki is the ancient Japanese art of gift wrapping with fabric. Bring along a box, a couple of books or odd shaped article and learn how to use preloved fabric make your gifts look special! Fabric will be provided.
