How to make contact

Following the latest government advice around the Coronavirus, we have had to make some temporary changes to how we operate. Please see our Coronavirus response page for full details. 

We take self-referrals only although you may also be supported to refer yourself by your GP or other agency.

Coronavirus update: Talking Therapies remains open, both for our current and newly self-referring clients.  We are changing the way we work in order to protect our clients and staff. Most services with will offered by telephone, with some groups using video conferencing programmes. We ask that clients do not come to Guild house.

We are taking referrals for talking therapies from Monday 11th May please see below our new telephone triage times.

How to access our Talking therapies services

  • We take referrals by phone between 9.30am - 12pm on Mondays, 9.30 - 11.30am on Tuesdays, 9.30am - 12.30pm and 2pm - 4pm on Thursdays
  • When you first call us, our admin team will ask you a few questions on the phone to make sure we are the right service for you
  • Once you have been completed this 10 minute call, an initial consultation will be booked with a counsellor/therapist
  • When you attend your first appointment the counsellor/therapist will assess and discuss with you which of our services are most likely to be right for you


We have appointments throughout the day and evening and our office is open during these times:

Monday - Thursday 9am - 10pm

Friday 9am - 8pm

Saturday 9am - 2pm
