Warm and Well in Merton

The Warm & Well in Merton campaign is raising awareness of the importance of keeping warm in winter and giving you support on how best to stay warm and well.

Warm & Well in Merton is a partnership between Wimbledon Guild, Merton Council, Age UK Merton and Thinking Works. Between us we can help you with:

Free home energy check

Thinking Works can offer you a free ‘Healthy Homes’ visit to assess your home to help you keep your home warm for less - Subject to change.

Information and advice

Wimbledon Guild is on hand to provide you free, confidential advice on transport, benefits, debt and housing support.

Winter Warm & Well pack

Our Winter Warm & Well pack will provide you with tips on how to keep warm and well in winter and information regarding local activities, lunch and social clubs available near your home. This will include an Age UK Winter Wrapped Up guide which you can download from the Age UK website here.

Financial support for individuals

Wimbledon Guild can provide grants for winter items people in Merton desperately need such as fuel costs, food, warm clothing, bedding etc when they have exhausted all other avenues of help.

Information for organisations working with people at risk

We can hold Warm & Well talks, engagement activities and advice clinics for organisations. Our team will also be there to provide 1:1 support as needed. Please let us know if you are a member of a community group that would benefit from this.
